Our programmes for children and teenagers (age 6-16 years) focus on two of mankind's most potent resources - MIND and MONEY, and ‘the’ biggest modern day influencer -MEDIA.

Money

It is said that unlearning, starting with a clean slate, paves the way to great learning. A 3-hour of mind-clearing and myth-busting session on an important and ubiquitous topic of money and its relevance to us.

Let’s Talk Money is discussion diligently moderated by our Founding Principal, financial literacy expert Swapna Mirashi, to clarify doubts, clear any misconceptions, ask and answer ambiguous question regarding money to lay a foundation for clarity of understanding money and its meaning in life.

Recommended groups:

  • Group I. Kids - Children ages 7-10 years
  • Group II. Big Kids - Children ages 10-13 years
  • Group III. Teens - Teenagers ages 13-16 years
  • Group IV. Family - Parents and their Children between ages 7-10 years

Summertime Kaleidoscope

Calling youngsters interested in reading and writing and news and happenings. An opportunity to step in shoes of journalists, photojournalists, editors, designers, critics and reviewers, Newsroom offers a unique media literacy opportunity through this exciting hands-on workshop.

In this Beginner’s Workshop, students will put together a news bulletin for children, discussing different developments and spotting ‘newsworthy’ meaningful developments.

The main purpose of this workshop is to make children aware as consumers of news.

They will also learn ‘on-the-job’, to look at different perspectives and understand and appreciate them.

They will understand;

  1. how news influences people’s opinions and actions.
  2. what goes into making a news bulletin
  3. the commercial side of it.

Recommended age group for the workshop: 10-16 years

Workshop Duration: 5 sessions of 3 hours each.

Students are required to enrol for and attend all 5 sessions.

Calling young theatre enthusiasts and reluctant speakers. An opportunity to select, improvise, rehearse and perform monologues.

In this Beginner’s Workshop, students will read multiple monologues and select one that they are excited to perform. They will explore different voices, styles of performing to their peer group and give/get feedback from peers, select one that works for them, rehearse and on the final day, perform to an audience comprising their family and friends.

Recommended age group for the workshop: 10-16 years

Workshop Duration: 5 sessions of 3 hours each.

Students are required to enrol for and attend all 5 sessions.

Mind

Mentobics is a weekly routine, part workout, part vacation-for-mind. MENTOBICS provides a fun workout for the mind and a healthy break that helps rejuvenate brain cells, act as a stress buster and keep the mind active, flexible and fertile.

Recommended age group: 10-16 years

Course Duration: This workshop operates in a 8-Session-Cycle. Each session is 1 hour a week. Students can attend a single session or enrol for 8 sessions.
