stage

All the world is a stage and all men and women are merely players.

But theatre is much more than what happens on the stage!

The preparation for theatre - reading, understanding the character and emotions and expressing them in the most effective way - is in fact, a preparation for life. Watching theatre too is an amusement ride and crash course in feeling and dealing with emotions.

Theatre is a kaleidoscope of life.

"The word theatre comes from the Greeks. It means the seeing place. It is the place people come to see the truth about life and the social situation." - Stella Adler

“I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being.” - Oscar Wilde

"Theater isn't there to provide answers. Only possibilities. I just ask the questions. But I believe hope comes from the fact that there is a potential for redemption. At the core, that's what matters in the theater I'm attracted to. Do we dare to hope? Do we allow ourselves to hope?"                            - Joe Mantello
